Flagzy keeps tracking to a minimum. This page explains the website technologies currently used.

Browser storage

Flagzy stores some game information on your device, including Daily results and streaks, flags saved for review, and the date you last played. A first-party preference named flagzy_analytics_consent stores only “granted” or “denied” for up to 180 days so we can remember your Google Analytics choice.

Essential technologies

Essential cookies or similar technologies may be used to deliver the website securely, prevent abuse and remember technical choices. Flagzy does not currently offer accounts. If sign-in or progress syncing is introduced, technologies used only to authenticate you, secure your session, or provide syncing you request may also be treated as essential. Essential technologies are not permission for optional analytics or advertising.

Cookie-free audience measurement

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate visits, popular pages, referrers, device categories, and page performance. Cloudflare states that this service does not use cookies, local storage, or fingerprinting to track individual visitors.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Tag Manager manages Google Analytics. In the EEA and United Kingdom, analytics storage starts denied and Google Analytics cookies are not written unless you accept. Google tags may still send limited cookieless signals under Google’s advanced consent mode. In other regions, analytics storage may start granted. Google Analytics measures page visits, game activation and completion, result sharing, replay, and web-app installation; it does not receive typed answers or free-text input from Flagzy.

Flagzy does not currently serve advertising. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and personalization storage are currently set to denied. Accepting analytics does not enable advertising or ad personalization. If advertising is introduced, we will update this notice and the relevant privacy controls before enabling advertising technologies.

Your choices

You can use Flagzy if you reject optional analytics. Select “Privacy choices” in the footer at any time to turn Google Analytics storage on or off. This choice does not disable Cloudflare Web Analytics. You can also remove locally stored game information and cookies through your browser’s site-data settings.
