Privacy at Flagzy

Information stored on your device

Flagzy uses browser storage to remember features such as your Daily result and streak, flags saved for review, the date you last played, and your Google Analytics choice. The analytics preference contains only “granted” or “denied” and is kept for up to 180 days so we do not ask repeatedly. You can remove locally stored information by clearing site data in your browser.

Operating and improving Flagzy

Cloudflare processes limited request and device information to deliver the website, maintain security, prevent abuse, and provide privacy-focused aggregate traffic and page-performance measurements. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, local storage, or fingerprinting to identify individual visitors.

Optional product analytics

Google Tag Manager manages Google Analytics so we can understand page visits, game activation and completion, result sharing, replay, and web-app installation. We do not send typed answers or free-text input. In the EEA and United Kingdom, analytics storage is denied until you accept optional analytics. Google tags may send limited cookieless signals while storage is denied. In other regions, analytics storage may be enabled by default, subject to your privacy choice. Google Analytics may use cookies and a pseudonymous browser identifier when analytics storage is granted.

Cookies

Flagzy does not currently serve advertising. Google Analytics consent applies only to optional analytics and does not authorize advertising or ad personalization. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and personalization storage are currently set to denied. If advertising is introduced, we will update this policy and the relevant privacy controls before enabling advertising technologies. Essential technologies may still be used for security, website operation, and features you request. Read the Cookie notice for more detail or use “Privacy choices” in the footer to change Google Analytics storage.

Sharing and installing Flagzy

When you choose to share a result, Flagzy asks your browser or operating system to open its sharing interface. The destination and information you send are controlled by you and the selected service. Installing Flagzy as a web app is handled by your browser or operating system.

Accounts and children

Flagzy does not currently offer user accounts or intentionally collect names, email addresses or dates of birth. Game progress, including Daily results and streaks, is currently stored on your device. If accounts or progress syncing are introduced, we will explain the information collected, retention, deletion options, and age-appropriate protections before launch. Cookies used only to sign you in, keep your session secure, or provide syncing you request would be treated separately from optional analytics and advertising choices.

Third-party links

Flagzy may link to third-party websites, such as a support or donation page. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Your choices

You can play without signing in or accepting optional analytics. Use “Privacy choices” in the footer to turn Google Analytics storage on or off. Turning it off updates Google consent and attempts to remove this site’s _ga cookies; it does not disable Cloudflare Web Analytics. You can also clear site data through your browser, decline installation, and cancel a system share. Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights relating to information processed by service providers.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Flagzy adds features. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page. For questions or privacy requests, please use our Contact page.
