How to Guess a Flag by Color
Begin with the number of colors, then compare their approximate shares. A dominant field with one small accent suggests a different design from three evenly balanced bands, even when the color names overlap.
The palette deliberately hides stripe direction, symbols and layout. Those details appear only with the complete flag after you answer.
Why some color combinations are harder
Red, white and blue appear on many national flags, so color names alone may not identify one country. The game keeps only palette mixes that remain unique after colors are grouped and their approximate shares are compared.
This is especially important in typed mode. A question is excluded when two countries would be equally defensible from the visible color evidence.
Compare the palette with the revealed flag
