Guess a flag by color in the world set: compare its main colors and approximate shares, identify the country, then check your reasoning against the complete flag.
How to Guess a Flag by Color
Begin with the number of colors, then compare their approximate shares. A dominant field with one small accent suggests a different design from three evenly balanced bands, even when the color names overlap.
The palette deliberately hides stripe direction, symbols and layout. Those details appear only with the complete flag after you answer.
Why some color combinations are harder
Red, white and blue appear on many national flags, so color names alone may not identify one country. The game keeps only palette mixes that remain unique after colors are grouped and their approximate shares are compared.
This is especially important in typed mode. A question is excluded when two countries would be equally defensible from the visible color evidence.
Compare the palette with the revealed flag
After answering, look for where the largest color sits and which small symbols contributed the accent colors. The reveal turns an abstract color mix back into a flag layout you can recognise later.

How many flag palettes are included?
The world pool contains 156 country flags whose main color mix is unique within Flagzy’s 195-country collection. The complete flag appears after every answer.
24 flag color and percentage examples
These examples come from the same 156-flag pool of distinct palettes as the game. Percentages are local SVG sampling estimates, not official color specifications: the script rasterizes to 96 × 72 pixels, groups color families, removes shares below 2.5%, normalizes the remaining shares and rounds to whole percentages. Rounding can make the total differ from 100%.
- Red–white–blue: Australia, Costa Rica and Cuba differ in proportions and symbols.
- Red–yellow–green: Cameroon and Ghana share color families; layout still matters.
- Green with accents: Bangladesh and Jamaica have very different accent shares.
- Blue with light fields: Argentina, the Bahamas and Greece show why light blue is sampled separately.
